By myself I participate in a lot of Facebook online events, Twitter parties, and Google Hangouts. About once or twice a month the kids and I participate in educational simulcasts for school. On to the first Socialite Sunday post…
Bright Ideas Press is widely known in the homeschooling community for being affordable, well organized and easy to use. They also tend to get extra kudos for being easy to implement with multiple ages at once.
Every second Tuesday of each month at 3pm Eastern Time Bright Ideas Press hosts live video chats via Google Hangouts. There is no registration required but if you RSVP on their Google Plus page you will be emailed a reminder of the upcoming event. All you need to participate is a Google account that is connected to Google+. Each Hangout has a theme that will be discussed. Take a look at the Hangouts schedule here to find a listing of past and future hangouts through April 2015.
Until next Sunday…
Happy virtual mingling!
